Mohammad Jakaria

Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University of South Carolina. My research lies in development, labor, and environmental economics, with a particular focus on how digital technology, financial access, and climate change shape economic and social well-being in developing countries. I use quasi-experimental methods and high-resolution geospatial and household survey data to generate policy-relevant evidence.

 I am on the 2025–26 academic job market.
